The principles of training :
-
Each level is a complete topic, and each topic is a section of a testing field. After passing each level you will get full theoretical knowledge on a certain topic from Masters.
-
Each theoretical chapter has its own quiz and practical task.
-
You need to complete a practical task to pass a level. Moreover, we also offer some additional small tasks and questions during each topic.
-
All levels are quite different. Some of them include more theory, and some - more practical tasks. It depends on topic and level. Closer to the end of the course, you will get more practical tasks, right after you will get enough skills.

For a level to be passed, you will need to get not less than 60% done out of maximum in both theory and practice. There are three types of grade based on the score: 60% and more is acceptable (C), 75% and more is good (B), 90% and more is excellent (A). Next level can be accessed only after the previous one is completed for not less than 60% or more (95% of students usually pass all tasks with two attempts).

There are no typical marks in this course, but there is a table of rating. You will be able to monitor your success and compare it with advances of other students. The best students will get recommendations, prizes or even invitations to IT co-working with our partner companies.

During training in Galaxy QA Academy, you will accumulate a large amount of knowledge, enough even for the level of Senior Manual QA. Even though it does not mean that you will become a Senior QA right after, you will receive all the necessary knowledge.
Principles of studying:

Demonstrativeness. Graphics is recognized and memorized much better than regular text. Also it considerably increases the effectiveness of information perception (up to 89% according to researches). Besides that, training material becomes much more clear. Text is placed directly on figures, which it refers to.

Conversational style of presentation. Recent researches have shown that using a personal conversational style for educational materials (instead of typical lectures) improves results of final testing at least on 40%. We tell you a story instead of giving you a lecture. Don't treat yourself too seriously. What draws attention of people faster: a wonderful talking at a table or a boring lecture?

Student's active participation. Until you start to exercise your mind, nothing could be changed inside your head. You should be interested in positive result: to solve tasks, formulate your own opinion, and acquire new knowledge and skills. For this, you need exercises and tricky questions, which can be solved only with both hemispheres of the brain. In addition to that, there are some "Easter" bugs hidden in each level. A tester should always keep attention! Send them from an additional field of a final tasks of a level. You will get bonus points, which can help you improve your grade in any task.

Attraction (and keeping) the reader's attention. Probably, the following situation is familiar to you: "I really want to learn this, but fall asleep on the first page". Your brain pays attention only on interesting, strange, attractive, unexpected things. Studying of a complex technical topic shouldn't necessarily be boring. Interesting is perceived much faster.

Appealing to emotions. It is known, that our ability to memorize strongly depends on our emotional empathy. We memorize those things, that are important for us. We memorize, when feel something bright. No, this is not about the sentiments at all. We are talking about such emotions as astonishment, curiosity, exciting and feelings like "Yeah, I'm cool!" at solving a problem too difficult for others, while you understand it better rather than even your university professor.
